Wetland Wonder Competition

Around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula, there are many beautiful wetlands that support threatened species, including 5 sites that are important across the globe. These are called Ramsar wetlands and hundreds of countries have agreed to protect them. To celebrate National Threatened Species Day Monday 7th September 20, we are running a creative competition for people aged 𝟲-𝟭𝟮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 (with amazing prizes). You can either choose to colour in the wetland or create a model of a wetland or wetland species. Your model can be made using any materials (e.g. a cake, paper, leaves, fabric, clay, papier-mâché, anything!). This event is supported and sponsored by the Barwon Estuary Project and the City of Greater Geelong.

There are 2 categories: a) Most creative colouring in page; and b) Most creative model of a wetland or wetland species
