Environmental Volunteering Toolkit

This PDF guide aims to provide information and advice for volunteers in the Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula region and includes something for everybody. In this toolkit, you will find brief descriptions of over 50 environmental volunteering groups, organisations or programs, case studies from some volunteering groups in the region, quick tips pages to help streamline your volunteering, as well as statements, words and images with connections to Country, provided by the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation.

Inclusive Volunteering Guide

This in-depth, practical guide aims to provide community and environment groups with a framework to make volunteering inclusive. The guide dives deep into 4 different communities; First Nations and the Wadawurrung, people from multicultural backgrounds, people with disabilities and people who are LGBTIQA+. This guide features background information, links and resources and practical tips from planning events, advertising and facilitating volunteering opportunities.

Student Work Placement Framework
